A gorgeous vintage Murano glass chandelier attributed to the design of Toni Zuccheri for Venini in the 1960s-1970s. It is made of 16 hollow clear glass tubes with a 'Corteccia' motif that resembles the bark of a tree, softening the light. This chandelier is a rare model with a glass diffuser plate in the center, adding to its charm.
Found in Bologna.
Condition: Very good. This chandelier is in very good vintage condition with a white enameled metal frame that shows some light wear. The glass tubes are all intact with only two having some chips on the rim. These are not visible. The chandelier is supported by a metal chain that is patinated but strong and the ceiling cup has been replaced. It is professionally rewired in Finland. The lamp has one light source that takes an E27 bulb. Weight: 25kg.
