Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your vintage purchase. If however, your item does not meet your expectations you can return it within 14-days of receipt and request a refund. To make it as stress-free as possible, we're happy to refund you the shipping costs (applies only to orders made in Finland).   

Inform us about your cancellation by filling in our withdrawal form. The cancellation notice must state the order number of the product purchased, the purchase price, the date of purchase and our own contact information.

The shipping costs of the returned product will be paid by Barlume Vintage (applies only to orders made in Finland). The product must be returned to Barlume Vintage in its original condition. The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the product is properly packaged and not damaged during transport. Once we have received the product, and the condition approved, we will refund the payment within 14 days to the bank account or debit card used in connection with the purchase. 

Please note that items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted. Also, note that we don't accept returns on items that have been specifically customized for a customer (repairs, upholstery, and other modifications). We don't accept returns on items purchased outside of the EU.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Also, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to organize an exchange is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
