An early 20th century cameo conch shell table lamp. Made in Naples and skillfully carved completely by hand, it's a very decorative piece. The cameo carving represents Pomona, the Roman goddess of plenty, carrying a cornucopia. The shell stands on three sea creature bronze legs. A rare find.
Condition: Very good. This table lamp is in very good vintage condition with minor wear to the shell. The legs show some wear and patina. The original electrics are included but do not comply with modern safety standards. If you wish to light the lamp, we can replace the electrics with a small battery driven LED light string that fits nicely inside the shell (last picture shows the black LED string battery case between the legs).
