Mid-century stool by Pier Luigi Colli

A gorgeous vanity stool by Italian designer Pier Luigi Colli (1895-1968). Originally a family business from Torino specializing in gobelin fabrics and embroideries, it expanded into furniture when the son, Pier Luigi, joined the company in 1921. This piece is made of hand-hammered wrought iron that has been gilded. Perfect in a bedroom or a living room. A rare find.

Found in Bologna.

Condition: Very good. This stool is in very good vintage condition. The gilded wrought iron frame shows some age-related patina but is solid and sturdy. The velvet upholstered seat is in very good vintage condition with some minor wear (see detailed images).

Dimensions: H 44cm x W 39cm
