Mid-century Italian serving trolley by Cesare Lacca
This handsome mid-century wood and brass serving trolley is attributed to Neapolitan Cesare Lacca, famous for his serving trolley designs, including work for Cassina. Made of walnut wood with brass framed glass shelves and details, it has a timelessly elegant design. A classic mid-century Italian piece.
Found in Forlì.
Condition: Very good. This serving trolley is in very good vintage condition. The glass is original with no cracks and only two very small chips, which are not visible when the panes are in place. The brass tray edges and wheels have age-related patina. The wood is also in very good condition with minor wear, mainly on the handlebar. The wheels are original and work smoothly. There is a slight gap between the glass and the brass tray edges (see detailed images).
