An antique dining chair by Mundus, Vienna. This original piece has two maker's marks underneath that tell us that the chair pre-dates 1914 when Mundus merged first with J. & J. Kohn and then with Thonet in 1922. With its classic bentwood construction and patterned seat and backrest, it's a lovely accent in any interior.
Found in Pisa.
Condition: Very good. The chair is in very good antique condition and has beautiful patina and wear consistent with its age and use. See detailed images.
