An armchair by highly-collectable Italian designer Umberto Mascagni. Active in Bologna after WWII, he was known internationally for his innovative use of new materials like synthetic leather and anodized aluminum.
Upholstered in the original metallic green faux leather with brass detailing, this statement piece adds retro chic to any space. A mid-century Italian design classic.

Condition: Very good vintage condition for its age and use. The faux leather seat and backrest have minimal wear with no tears. The legs, feet, and metal structure show some wear and age-related patina (see detailed images).
