White vintage ceramic sitting elephant statue

A white glazed statue of a sitting elephant from the 1980s. A rare and unique piece. May have been used as a special liquor bottle as there is an opening in the trunk. The statue can easily be modified into a lamp.

Found at an antiques market in Arezzo, Tuscany.

Condition: Overall good. Shows signs of use with small chips on both front paws and on the back (see images for details).
