A vintage classic terracotta vase or amphora used traditionally in southern Italy to carry water. Known as an 'Acquaiolo', it was used to carry water by street water sellers, and often had a spout attached at the end for easy pouring. Its subdued color makes it a perfect match for any interior.
Found in Florence.
Condition: Good. In original condition with marks and patina due to its age. The top is worn most likely due to the water spout that was there once upon a time.
