Vintage Murano glass ball hanging light

This impressive large Murano glass ball has two distinctive amber coloured leaf motifs on a white speckled background. Completely hand blown, the glass glows when lit up. Similar in style to the Mazzega Murano glass designs from the 1970s. A rare find. 

Found in Rome.

Condition: Good. The glass is in good overall condition with minimal wear. The brass plated metal structure holding the glass and the ceiling cup show signs of wear and colour flaking but are structurally sound. The wooden decoration is in very good condition (see detailed images). Has original wiring that is easy to update.

Dimensions: H 56cm x W 40cm (total height including chain and cup: 80cm).
