A large vintage sculpture in terracotta. This bust is modeled on ancient sculptures of Roman emperors with a distinctive Roman nose and curly hair. The sculptor's name ("Govoni") and date (1970) are visible on the side. Made to hang on the wall, this is a stunning piece of Italian art that looks fantastic in a modern or a more traditional interior. A unique find.

Condition: Very good. This sculpture is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. Any difference in color and texture is a testament to the hand-made nature of this piece (see detailed images). Note: the bust can be hung by a hook that fits into the indent made inside the top of the head, visible in the last image.
