A stunning vintage folk art bowl believed to be made by the Hucul or Hutsuls mountain people. Hand-made from terracotta, it depicts a figure in the middle with a bright green decoration all around on a cream background. Although not Italian, we couldn't resist this charmer!
Found in Imola.
Condition: Good. This bowl is in good vintage condition with wear and patina consistent with its age. There are no cracks but some missing glazing can be seen on the rim. One chip is visible underside but does not affect the piece is any way. Any differences in color, glazing or texture is a testament to its artisanal manufacture (see detailed images).
Dimensions: Diameter: 22cm x H 6.5cm
