This glass centerpiece is attributed to the manufacture of Seguso Vetri d'Arte and designed by the glass artist Flavio Poli in the 1960s. It represents the 'Sommerso' or submerged glass technique developed by Flavio Poli on the island of Murano in Venice. The piece is transparent on the outer edge and then changes to a subtle pink that fades into a deeper yellow tone with a transparent foot.
Condition: Good overall condition consistent with its age and use. There are some small marks on one side of the glass and a few bubbles that are part of the hand-blown process. See detailed images for more information.
