Antique Italian art pottery

An beautiful antique terracotta bottle in the shape of a fish. This was most likely used as a 'scaldamani' or handwarmer but today makes a unique decorative piece for your home. It is painted in a traditional mustard yellow, blue and green glaze that looks great in a modern or more tradition interior.

Found in Parma.

Condition: Good. This piece is in good overall condition consistent with its age. There is wear and flaking of the glazing in some parts and may have been lacquered  at a later date for conservation. There are no breaks of chips in the terracotta (see detailed images).

Dimensions: H 15.5cm x W 23cm x D 10cm
