This is a stunning serving dish by the aristocratic Sicilian ceramic artist Giovanni DeSimone. He was heavily influenced by Picasso, and developed a unique style of design that combined his Sicilian heritage and love of folk art. The large dish made in 1964 is hand-painted in vivid colours with a picture of a fishmonger in the middle. Perfect on the wall as a work of art or as a table centerpiece. A collector's piece.
