Rare vintage 1950s bookcase from sought-after Milan-based designer and manufacturer Antonio Ferretti. Perfect for a home office, kitchen or as a statement piece in a living room.
Ferretti, active from 1904 to the 1970s, produced mid-century modern classics for the office, combining Nordic rationalism with Italian flair.
Designed as a bookcase, with three adjustable shelves and frosted glass door panels. Made of Slavonic beech.
Found in Bologna. Came from a local Catholic school. Original delivery label still attached!
Condition: Good, with wear consistent with age and use. Original glass is intact and door lock is functional. Key is original and branded. Shelves and all fittings also original. Some minor damage to veneer external side panels and some lifting of the wood on the bottom back panel. (See detailed images).
