An iconic table fan made in the early 1950s by the Ercole Marelli company in Milan. The fan (model #I304) is made of maroon Bakelite blades and a cream cast iron body. It features two speeds and an articulated base that allows the fan head to be lowered and attached to a wall. Built to last, it's still a beauty and a collector's piece.
Found in None, outside Torino.
Condition: Good. The fan is in good condition with wear and patina consistent with its age. The hard rubber base has cracks in it but do not affect its function or overall look. One of the iron 'arms' holding the metal protective grid has been repaired (see detailed images). For this reason the condition is classified as 'Good'. NOTE: the fan's protective grid does not meet modern safety standards. Has been rewired and is in working order.
