A charming Art Deco French bulldog mascot, attributed to a design by Duges and Jouenne of the École Boulle in Paris. The design won first prize at the Salon de l’Auto in the early 1920s and was created for use as a car hood ornament or radiator cap.
Made of gilded bronze and featuring a chain and post detail, this bulldog captures the geometric elegance of the era. A piece of motoring and design history, perfect on a desk or bookcase. A collector's piece.

Condition: Good. This piece is in good antique condition with some marks and patina consistent with its age and use. The gilding has worn off in several places to reveal the bronze underneath.
